Zoe's Place Children's Hospice is in the Brisbane suburb of Mt Ommaney. Our services are Centre, Community and Hospital based. Through our palliative, end-of-life, respite and bereavement services a team of professional staff and trained volunteers support our families from diagnosis to bereavement and beyond. Our Centre based respite service allows parents/carers to enjoy a much needed break from the daily routine of being the primary caregivers, to recharge their batteries and to spend time with their ill child's siblings and each other.
Stage Two will be a specially designed 6 bedroom children's hospice with a purpose built end-of-life facility including family accommodation. Stage Three will be a 4 bedroom adolescent and young peoples unit catering for the unique needs of this age demographic. Completion of the complex will cost approximately $2 million.
Zoe's Place is the only organisation in Queensland offering these crucial support services, and we rely on donations and corporate sponsorship.
